Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for managing the management systems, including planning, implementation, internal audits, management reviews, and external certification audits for ISO 45001 / ISO 14001; establish and implement standardized safety programs to ensure compliance with requirements.
2. Develop and revise regulations and documentation related to occupational health, work safety, and emergency response plans; register emergency response plans and prepare drill scenarios, as well as organize regular drills.
3. Collect and identify legal documents, regulations, and standards related to safety, environment, fire prevention & firefighting, and occupational health applicable to the company.
4. Organize departments to identify hazards and assess environmental impact factors.
5. Participate in inspections of safety, environmental protection, fire prevention & firefighting, and occupational health conditions of equipment and facilities in the company; follow up with related departments to promptly eliminate identified risks.
6. Regularly conduct inspections and patrols in the workplace regarding safety, environment, fire prevention & firefighting, and occupational health; monitor and remind employees to comply with internal rules and regulations.
7. Participate in handling, rescue, investigation, and root cause analysis of incidents and occupational accidents.
8. Promote the development of a safety culture and plan/organize safety-related activities.
9. Handle legal procedures with competent authorities for new projects, renovation projects, or expansion projects related to occupational health and safety.
10. Maintain liaison and coordination with government agencies and relevant organizations within the scope of responsibility.
11. Responsible for collecting, preparing, and submitting reports and information related to assigned tasks.
12. Support the Department/Division Head in carrying out other tasks within the assigned scope of work.
Job Requirements
1. Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
2. Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in safety management. Preference for candidates who have held a safety management role in Vietnam or multinational companies; familiarity with international safety management models is an advantage.
3. Professional Skills: Possess a practicing Safety Engineer Certificate or internationally recognized safety certification; solid theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in safety management; proficient in risk assessment, accident investigation, and incident handling.
4. Language Skills: Basic proficiency in Vietnamese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
5. Other Competencies: Strong crisis management and emergency response capabilities; good organizational, coordination, and team-building skills; ability to support the Department/Division Head in leading the team to achieve safety management goals.
6. Nationality Requirements:
  • Vietnamese candidates: Fluent in Chinese, with a preference for candidates who have worked in Chinese enterprises.
  • Chinese candidates: Proficient in all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in Vietnamese, with preference for those with prior working experience in Vietnam.
