Business Analyst (BA)

The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for bridging business needs and IT solutions by analyzing banking processes, gathering requirements, and delivering clear functional documentation to support system development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze banking products, processes, and data requirements.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into clear and structured BRD/SRS.

• Support solution design by collaborating with System Analysts, Developers, QA, and Project Managers.

• Analyze banking data and processes to ensure solutions comply with business rules and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, UAT support, and clarification throughout the project lifecycle.

• Act as a key liaison between Business and IT teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

• > 5 years working with banking data and processes; able to quickly grasp new banking products and rules.

• Strong experience in writing clear, complete, and structured BRD/SRS for banking products and processes.

• Familiar with MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle; capable of using SQL/PLSQL for data handling.

• Good analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience working in banking or financial institutions is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on core banking or large-scale banking systems.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall project environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
