Job Responsibilities:
1. Take overall responsibility for coordinating equipment management in the factory; develop annual plans to ensure stable equipment operation, support achievement of wind turbine blade production targets, and ensure that equipment management strategies comply with local legal frameworks.
2. Oversee the entire equipment lifecycle, including selection, procurement, installation and commissioning, operation, maintenance, upgrading, and disposal, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and safeguarding the factory’s legitimate interests.
3. Establish and improve equipment management systems, standards, and procedures; ensure occupational health and safety during equipment operation and maintenance; monitor implementation and continuously optimize management systems.
4. Lead and manage the equipment support team; coordinate internal and external relationships to ensure smooth execution of equipment management tasks.
5. Analyze equipment operation data and develop preventive maintenance plans to reduce failure rates and downtime; respond promptly to major equipment incidents; comply with Vietnamese regulations on accident reporting and investigation; cooperate with local authorities in investigations and propose corrective and preventive measures.
6. Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement departments to understand production needs and provide technical equipment support to ensure smooth operations; participate in equipment-related tasks in new construction, expansion, or plant renovation projects, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese construction and industrial standards.
7. Monitor industry equipment technology trends, promote innovation and technological upgrades within the factory, pay close attention to Vietnamese government policies and regulations on industrial technology innovation, leverage policy support, and mitigate legal risks.
Job Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in equipment management, including a minimum of 3 years in team management.
3. Skills: Proficient in full equipment lifecycle management; solid knowledge of maintenance technologies, diagnostics, and repair; well-versed in industry standards and Vietnamese legal requirements.
4. Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills; ability to foster cross-departmental collaboration; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, ensuring compliance and sound judgment in handling issues related to legal regulations.
5. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in office software and equipment management systems.
6. Language & Cultural Fit:
- Vietnamese candidates must be proficient in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Chinese candidates must be proficient in Vietnamese, with preference for those with experience in the manufacturing industry in Vietnam.
