1. Job Description
  • Responsible for the energy management of the factory; based on the Vietnamese Energy Law and policies for energy saving and emission reduction, develop plans and goals for energy management, establish processes and regulations for management, and promote the rational and economical use of energy.
  • Statistical analysis and monitoring of the consumption of various types of energy such as water, electricity, and gas in the factory; collect periodic data, prepare consumption reports, analyze performance, identify waste points, and propose measures to improve energy savings; the statistical and analytical work must comply with the legal regulations on energy statistics in Vietnam, ensuring accurate and retrievable data.
  • Implement energy audits, assess the energy efficiency of the factory to support management decision-making; organize the implementation of energy-saving technology improvement projects, apply new technologies, new equipment, and new processes to reduce energy consumption costs; all auditing and project implementation work must comply with the legal regulations on energy auditing and energy-saving project management in Vietnam.
  • Manage energy measurement equipment, including: selecting types, procurement, installation, calibration, maintenance, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement data; build management records for measurement equipment, conduct periodic evaluations; the management of measurement equipment must comply with the legal regulations of Vietnam on measurement.
  • Maintain good relationships with energy suppliers, grasp market trends and pricing policies, plan reasonable energy purchases to reduce procurement costs; support the resolution of issues related to energy supply, ensuring stable supply; procurement activities must comply with the legal regulations of Vietnam on energy transactions, ensuring the legality of buying and selling activities.
  • Organize training and awareness-raising activities on energy management, enhance energy-saving awareness and operational skills of employees; participate in the factory’s energy-saving and emission reduction efforts; complete other energy management tasks assigned by superiors; the content of training and awareness-raising must comply with the legal requirements of Vietnam regarding the dissemination of energy policies.
2. Job Requirements
  • Graduated in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in energy management; preference for candidates with experience working in factories in Vietnam or foreign-invested enterprises; preference for candidates familiar with energy laws in Vietnam.
  • Thorough understanding of energy management system standards and related legal regulations; proficient in energy auditing processes, energy-saving technology improvements; capable of data analysis and developing energy-saving plans in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Proficient in office software and specialized software related to energy management; basic communication skills in English or Vietnamese to interact with local energy authorities and suppliers on related legal issues.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with energy suppliers and internal departments; high sense of responsibility and innovative thinking, always complying with the law and seeking creative solutions in energy management.
  • Vietnamese candidates are required to communicate fluently in Chinese or English; preference for candidates with experience working in Chinese enterprises.
