Application Support: for LOS Domain

JOB PURPOSE

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Loan Origination System (LOS) application support in a high-demand banking environment.

  • Ensure stable operation and continuous availability of LOS applications in Production.

  • Handle complex L2/L3 incidents and problems related to:

    • LOS applications

    • Databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle)

    • Credit and lending business workflows

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring issues.

  • Serve as a technical focal point working closely with:

    • Development teams

    • Infrastructure and DBA teams

    • System vendors

    • Banking business stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with High Availability, SLA, RTO/RPO requirements, especially during peak business periods.

  • Lead and support UAT, Go-live, system rollout, upgrades, and enhancements of LOS platforms.

  • Execute advanced data analysis and troubleshooting using PL/SQL and T-SQL.

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve:

    • Operational procedures

    • Support documentation

    • Runbooks and best practices

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior support engineers when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–7+ years of experience in supporting database-driven and web-based applications.

  • 3+ years of hands-on expertise with:

    • MS SQL Server, Oracle

    • Java applications

    • PL/SQL, T-SQL

  • Strong experience in High Availability environments, preferably within LOS or banking lending systems.

  • Solid understanding of IT operations in banking environments (ITIL processes, incident/problem/change management).

  • Experience supporting 24/7 production systems, including on-call rotation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Prior experience with large banks, core banking, or lending platforms is highly preferred.
