Import Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
1, Responsible for preparing customs documentation, submitting and tracking import declarations for raw materials, equipment, jigs, molds, spare parts, etc., ensuring the accuracy of declaration information and compliance with customs regulations.
2, Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customs authorities to handle any issues arising during customs clearance, ensuring timely clearance of imported goods.
3, Manage and store all documents related to imported goods, such as customs declarations, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.; establish and maintain a logbook for tracking the customs clearance of imports.
4, Ensure the on-time customs clearance rate and document accuracy rate meet requirements; collect and analyze import transportation costs, and continuously improve toward lean processes.
5, Monitor changes in customs policies in different countries to ensure the company’s import operations comply with international trade regulations (e.g., HS code classification, CO – Certificate of Origin management).
6, Continuously update and improve import procedures and regulations.
7, Coordinate with the finance department for foreign currency payments for imports, providing relevant documents and information.
8, Work with customs authorities, the Department of Industry and Trade, and related agencies; maintain relationships with government bodies and coordinate inspections when required.
Requirements:
1, College degree or above.
2, Major in international trade, material management, business administration, enterprise management, or related fields.
3, Minimum of 2 years of experience in import-export, with a thorough understanding of import-export procedures.
4, Proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Chinese.
5, Possess a professional work ethic, able to work under pressure; strong communication and coordination skills, and a high sense of responsibility.
6, Familiar with customs policies and regulations related to import and export in Vietnam.
