Safety engineer
Job Responsibilities:
1, Assist in implementing system management tasks, including planning, execution, internal audit, management review, and external certification audits for ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 systems; at the same time, develop and implement safety standardization and compliance activities as required.
2, Assist the department in drafting and revising regulations related to occupational safety and health, and emergency response plans; carry out registration and develop periodic drill scenarios.
3, Assist in collecting and identifying legal regulations and standards related to safety, environment, fire prevention and fighting, and occupational health applicable to the company.
4, Assist departments in identifying hazards and environmental impact factors.
5, Participate in inspecting the safety status, environmental protection, fire prevention and fighting, and occupational health of equipment and facilities in the company; urge relevant departments to rectify identified hazards and risks.
6, Conduct periodic workplace inspections on safety, environment, fire prevention and fighting, and occupational health; remind employees to comply with regulations and rules.
7, Participate in rescue operations, accident investigation, and root cause analysis.
8, Assist in promoting safety culture, planning, and organizing safety activities.
9, Assist in handling legal procedures related to new projects on safety and occupational health with relevant authorities.
10, Assist in liaising and coordinating with government agencies and relevant organizations within the scope of responsibility.
11, Be responsible for collecting, filling in, and reporting information and data related to the work within the scope of responsibility.
12, Assist the department head in performing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
1, Education and Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
2, Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in safety management.
3, Professional Skills: Basic theoretical knowledge and practical experience in safety management; proficiency in professional skills such as safety risk assessment, accident investigation, and incident handling.
4, Language Skills: Basic communication skills in Vietnamese and/or Chinese; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
5, Other Competencies: Proficient in basic office software; strong sense of responsibility, good communication and coordination skills, team spirit; ability to adapt to high-pressure work environments; problem-solving mindset and flexible incident handling capabilities.
6, Nationality Requirements:
Vietnamese candidates: Proficient in Chinese communication, with priority given to those who have worked in Chinese enterprises.
Chinese candidates: Proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Vietnamese, with priority given to those who have worked in Vietnam.
