Manual Tester (Banking)

1. Job Description

Understand the specification documents, write documents according to the project template and internal sign-off: test case, test report, user manual;
Plan tests, develop test scenarios for API, SQL, Web, Mobile app products;
Conduct smoke tests in the UAT environment before handing over the UAT environment to users. Support business users in creating UAT scenarios and testing during the UAT process, log UAT bugs received from users into the project management tool and track the logged/assigned bugs.
Execute testing and report;
Write user manuals if necessary.

2. Job Requirement

Have experience in software testing;
Experience in querying SQL databases; Specify SQL execution with database management systems.
Experience in system testing, writing scenarios / executing tests and reporting results.
Proficient in software testing processes and test case design techniques;
Graduated from accredited universities in the country or abroad in IT or equivalent fields or have recognized testing/IT certifications from reputable organizations;
Preferred:
Preference for candidates with testing experience in the banking and finance sector;
Preference for candidates with basic English reading and writing skills, speaking (if possible); Position for manual testing of Mobile App/Web/API: Experience in testing web applications or mobile API applications.
Preference for personnel with experience using various tools such as Serenity, Cucumber, Katalon, Git, Jenkins.
