Project Manager – Banking

JOB PURPOSE |
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering large-scale banking IT projects, especially key core systems, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and in compliance with banking regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of banking IT projects, from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring to closure

Lead and coordinate large-scale software development and implementation projects related to core banking, payment, LOS, CRM, data, and integration systems

Act as the primary point of contact between the Bank, stakeholders, vendors, and internal delivery teams
-
Develop and manage:

Project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets
-
Project scope, risks, issues, and change requests
-
-
Apply and tailor project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall based on banking project requirements
-
Monitor project progress, ensure deliverable quality, and proactively manage risks and issues

Ensure compliance with:

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Banking security, compliance, and risk management requirements
-

Provide regular project status reports to senior management and banking stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS |

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development or software implementation projects

At least 3 years of experience working in a Banking or Financial Services environment

Proven experience managing:

Large-scale projects
-
Mission-critical / core banking systems
-

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Solid knowledge of project management methodologies: Agile / Scrum / Waterfall

Strong skills in:

Good command of English for professional communication
